A few years ago, our family stepped into leadership of the Montana Foster Closet with a simple belief: children entering foster care need to be seen, valued, and supported in their greatest moment of need. After stewarding the work for several years, we realized it was time to take the next step. We officially became a 501(c)(3) in 2025 so we could expand our reach, partner more deeply with communities, and serve families across the entire state.

Our journey in foster care began long before the nonprofit did. Over the past 12 years, we’ve welcomed over twenty children into our home. Each placement has shown us the same truth—one family can make a difference, but a united community can change the experience of entering care altogether.

Our vision is to create impact far beyond what we can provide within our own home. We’re building a statewide network of support so that every child entering care in Montana can receive immediate essentials and a reminder that they matter. This mission is bigger than us, and that’s exactly why you are here!
